Stan is still waiting to
hear back from the potential job, so I spent the morning making calls back home
and figuring out my plane ticket. Because Ginger and Stan’s plans may change, I
decided it would be best to fly home with my sister, Kristy, on August 7th.
This is much earlier than I anticipated coming home, but it will be for the
best.
Around noon Stan and I
drove back out to Antone’s Bay to head home. The skiff ride across Marmot was a
little wavy for my tastes, but once we were in Whale Pass which is sheltered by
surrounding islands, the ride was much nicer.
We made good time and had
little to unload so in the afternoon everyone did small jobs around camp before
we had a meal of leftovers and watched a movie before calling it a night.
