Today
was yet another busy day. In the morning I brought the trash up to the
Industrial Zone (IZ) to be burned and hauled some branches that way for a
bonfire later in July. I also started the watering system for the outdoor beds
because they haven’t gotten any rain recently.
The
next task that took most of the day was staining the laundry room wall. The
stain was completely separated so half the battle was mixing the stain again.
Then I had to carefully set the ladder around the porch and giant rock in the
ground to get at the eaves and higher areas. Staining the wall and the deck
took almost 6 hours.
By then it was dinner time. After a small dinner I went back out and weed whacked the road leading to the hoop houses. The grass clippings were raked up and placed around the outdoor beds as a weed barrier. This took until 9:30 PM which makes a 12.5 hour working day for me. It was a lot of work but the end results of the staining and weed whacking were well worth the effort. Tomorrow might be an easier day.
