May 31

Today was rainy like yesterday with a classic Kodiak chill. Ginger was still pretty sick, so nothing got started until almost noon. We planted some herbs to get growing because the first batch Ginger started got viciously attacked by aphids and had to be scrapped. It was a lot of fun learning how to get such small seeds to start sprouting into beautiful and delicious herbs.

After a brief run-down of camp we discussed the priority projects on camp. Right off the bat Bentley, Jordan, Jeanie, and myself went to work weeding the greenhouses. There was a bugger of a weed that was propagating everywhere, so that took up most of the afternoon. Beyond the weeding nothing else was done today.

Tomorrow is supposed to be much nicer, so I look forward to the sunshine and blue skies!
