Today Ginger and I leave
for town. It will be the first day I have had internet or phone access since
coming out to the homestead. I am excited to catch up on things but there is
always work to be done around this place. After breakfast I headed out to
continue reclaiming some electrical wire and zip ties from the water line. This
took me until around noon when I popped back into the main house to see if
there were any pressing matters to attend to.
Ginger decided we should
take Vic and his crew for a walk up the water line to clean the hydro system.
This didn’t take long and by then it was time for lunch. After lunch I
transplanted some arugula up at the hoop houses and then went to pack.
Ginger and I left the
homestead at around 5:30 and finally got to her father’s house around 8:00 PM.
We were both exhausted after the day we had and went to bed early.
